Does a Rainbird ESP-TM2 have a battery? ›

External battery back-up not required. Nonvolatile memory permanently saves the current programming and a 10 year life lithium battery maintains the controllers time and date during power outages.

Reset the WiFi module. While plugged in, press and hold the button on the WiFi module for 5 seconds. The LED should turn Amber colored, and then red, followed by three green blinks, followed by red and green alternating (WiFi Hotspot).

To cancel watering, turn the dial to OFF for three seconds until the screen shows OFF.

A common reason why a program is repeating is that you have a second start time set. The start times control the exact time your ESP-Me timer will begin to water and they also control how many times a day your timer will water. The ESP-Me allows you to set up to 6 start times per program.

Possible causes: More than one Daily Start Time has been set for each program. The program will start at the designated start time and run all zones assigned to that program in consecutive order.

Watering frequency options include watering on Odd days, Even Days, Custom days, or Cyclic Days. An example of Custom Days is above, where you choose the specific days each week that will water.
