What does MV mean on Rain Bird? ›

The ESP-Me can control a pump start relay, to turn the pump on and off as needed. A Connect a wire from the pump start relay (PSR) to the. master valve terminal (MV) on the base module. Then connect another wire from the pump start relay to the field common wire, as shown.

Complete this section only if you have a MASTER VALVE or a PUMP START RELAY for a pump installed. A master valve is a normally closed valve installed at the supply point of the mainline that opens only when the automatic system is activated.

The "No AC" means the battery is powering the unit but won't power the sprinkler controls.

When a controller waters all zones more than one time, like watering all of them in sequence and then starts over and does it again, it may be a programming issue. Sometimes there is more than one start time per program when only one start time was intended. Double check all of your start times and run times.

Stop a manual program cycle: After initiating a manual program cycle from the Home screen, you can press the “Skip Next” button (appears green when program is active) under the Program that is running until all zones are skipped. The “Skip Next” button then turns grey indicating that the watering cycle is stopped.

Is the water turned on, is the controller plugged in and programmed correctly, are there isolation valves that might be turned off? Verify valve operation by using the manual bleed. This might indicate a controller or wiring problem if the valve works properly when using the manual bleed.
